Historic Matlacha – Restaurants, Galleries, & Shops

Dining – Waterfront seafood, coffee and freshly made desserts, Italian, Asian, pizza and ice cream, to name a few. Most within walking distance. And that’s not even mentioning the variety of dining available on Pine Island or in neighboring Cape Coral.

Galleries – Matlacha has grown into a full-blown artist’s colony, with galleries and gardens showcasing individual artists, as well as eclectic mixes. Be inspired by all types of media inspired by this unique spot in Florida.

Shops – Clothes, souvenirs, knick-knacks and more are available in the many shops of Matlacha. In addition, home-made candies and desserts are there for the snacking. The freshest seafood around can be purchased at the markets and cooked in your room if your catch of the day wasn’t quite to your tastes!

Chamber of Commerce – The Greater Pine Island Chamber of Commerce serves Matlacha and the neighboring islands, and is a great source of things to do, see and eat during your visit.
